RELATED: Mods That Make Minecraft Feel Like A Completely Different Game

The cute theme in particular is one of the more popular choices when it comes to Minecraft’s texture packs. Whether it’s adorable, cartoon-like, and simple, bright textures or downright candyland-themed pink overhauls that change everything, these cute Minecraft texture packs are guaranteed to satisfy any players with a penchant for all things sweet.

Updated December 22, 2021 by Russ Boswell: There are a lot of amazing Minecraft texture packs out there and new and upcoming texture artists are flocking back to Minecraft to bring players even more thanks to the release of Caves and Cliffs Part 2. Many players will opt for the cool and innovative texture re-designs but there are some out there looking for cute Minecraft texture packs to transform their worlds into adorable cartoony visions. To shine a better light on some of the best cute Minecraft texture packs, the following list has been updated to include even more entries.

12 Hafen

Those that enjoy the simplistic yet detailed textures of titles like the Link’s Awakening remake should feel immediately drawn to Hafen. This texture pack completely revamps the traditional Minecraft experience without changing the core elements too much. Instead of wild “new enemies” and items, each texture has been morphed into a cute, simplistic, and cartoony version of itself. Most mobs still manage to feel threatening to the player but fit in well with all of the other cutesy skins.

The end result feels like players are living and exploring an episode of Adventure Time. Hafen can be snagged from nongko on PlanetMinecraft but there is also a Bedrock version available for 660 coins under the name “Squishy Pixels.”

11 Tooniverse

Those that truly want to embrace a cartoon-style aesthetic in all of its toony glory will definitely want to check out Tooniverse. This texture pack amps the cartoonish character designs and textures up to 11, leaving players with an entirely new Minecraft experience that looks every bit as adorable as it does new and refreshing. You can tell that Daft-Vader put a lot of love and effort into this pack as each texture looks expertly crafted, featuring vibrant colors and cel-shading to give it that extra splash of style.

Everything looks fantastic in this texture pack but the mobs and villagers definitely take center stage, thanks to their adorable expressions.

10 Nature X

The mobs and character designs from Minecraft are immediately recognizable to fans but what helps set the game apart from others in the genre are its beautiful open-worlds and picturesque landscapes. Players can spend hours upon hours sifting through a wide array of biomes and discovering some truly breathtaking procedurally generated areas. Because of this, some texture pack creators have opted to put a heavier focus on the environments that players find themselves in, rather than mobs or items.

A great example of this is Nature X, a mod from hothaifah that upgrades all of the natural nature-based tiles and blocks into some beautifully updated textures that breathe new life into all of Minecraft’s Vanilla environments.

9 Pastel Hotbar

Creator : KittyIsntFunny

While this one isn’t technically a full-on texture pack that changes everything in the game, it does address an important part of Minecraft’s visuals: the interface. Interfaces are not always affected by texture packs, which is why having a separate mod for the hotbar can really help change how the game feels.

This pastel hotbar is perfect when paired with cute, pink texture packs. It’s as simple as it sounds: it changes the colors of the default hotbar. The XP bar gets a nice iridescent rainbow color, and the armor meter is pink as well. The best part is the hunger meter, which now consists of adorable pixel strawberries instead.

8 Bewitched

Creator : Karaoke

Before getting to the actual pink texture packs, it’s a good time to talk about Bewitched, which is a gorgeous, sort of cottagecore-inspired texture pack. Cute doesn’t necessarily have to mean everything is pink and pastel-colored, and this texture pack proves it.

The natural cuteness of this pack makes it a bit more user-friendly for players who still want to be able to recognize which block they’re holding or mining. The textures are a bit more cartoon-like, with a retro RPG feel to them.

7 Candycane Craft

Creator : Gingerbread8

For a truly cute and sweet texture pack, Candycane Craft is the way to go. Most of the textures in this pack have been prettified, while still kept somewhat true to their original. Mobs like skeletons and Creepers will now have an adorable anime-style blush on their cheeks, making them less hostile-looking.

The most drastic change is definitely the way the Nether dimension looks. Players who always found the Nether to be too dark and edgy for their tastes will be happy to realize the whole dimension is now a pastel-colored candy world with candy cane trees. There’s truly nothing more delightful than that, and it’s almost a completely new dimension.

6 Kawaii World

Creator : Mariiecx

Pink snow, cute objects, and anime-looking villagers, there’s no question about Kawaii World delivering exactly what its name promises. The colors of this texture pack aren’t as pastel and light as some of the others, so expect to see bright pink, purple, and magenta in various shades.

This texture pack changes a lot in the world quite a bit, from the actual blocks to armor, workstations, mobs, and ores. It might take some time to get used to the new look of the game, but for players who want a perfectly pink and cute experience, it’s absolutely worth it.

5 Jolicraft

Creator : Andrethejolicoeur

Back to more earthy Minecraft texture packs, and away from the intrusive, cute colors. Jolicraft is a cute texture pack that’s a bit different from most of the pink and pastel texture packs due to its natural appearance that actually respects Minecraft’s default look.

However, it does introduce a really nice cottagecore theme to the game, which is precisely what qualifies it as a cute texture pack. It has a perfect, slightly cartoonish, and wholesome appearance that even extends to mobs.

4 Splotch

Creator : Cheezlordy

Texture packs can put a significant strain on some PCs, so having these more simplistic texture packs as an option definitely helps. Splotch is an adorable, somewhat pastel-themed texture pack that imitates a cute and playful retro game aesthetic seen in arcade games.

The blocks themselves are very simple and brightly colored, with minimal detail to them. The art style could be described as a mix of Super Mario, Pokemon and a dash of Lego mixed into one 8x8 texture pack, friendly to most PCs. It’s a nice choice for players who prefer to still recognize their game after downloading a texture pack.

3 PastelCraft

Creator : XradicalD

For an adorable but not too dramatic yet cute experience, there’s PastelCraft. As the name implies, the colors lean more on the pastel side, but they aren’t unnatural colors by any means. Most of the textures are still very recognizable, but with a more adorable appearance.

One of the best parts about PastelCraft is that it changes the way paintings look as well. Minecraft’s paintings can get a bit boring after a while, so having a texture pack alter their appearance is a welcome change. As a bonus, the glazed terracotta textures have also been slightly reworked.

2 Anemoia

Creator : Glassdoiphin

Bright, cute, and vibrant, Anemoia is the perfect playful texture pack for players. It almost has an Instagram filter appearance that makes the game feel a million times more fresh and enjoyable. The changed texture also extends to mobs, such as villagers, which have a brand-new interesting appearance.

Anemoia gives Minecraft an appearance that would make players think of games such as My Time At Portia or Animal Crossing. It’s ideal for any relaxed Minecraft players who like to build for fun and play slowly.

1 Dandelion X

Creator : Xerotrinity

Cute, yet mysterious and magical. That’s the name of the game when it comes to Dandelion X, a texture pack that stays true to Minecraft’s appearance, yet vastly improves and changes it at the very same time. It’s a perfect mix that softens and rounds up the rough, bleak look of Minecraft into something vibrant and aesthetically pleasing.

Dandelion X is cute precisely because it has that magical, soft appearance without compromising the game’s true nature. It might not be the pastel pink dream everyone dreams of, but it’s great for players who prefer their Minecraft to be a burst of color and mysticism.

Minecraft was released on November 18, 2011, and is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, Raspberry Pi, Apple TV, Wii U, and PlayStation Vita.
