The Arrowverse has been running for a decade now and produced multiple shows, some of which got better ratings from the viewers than others. Everybody will have a different favorite, but the ratings on IMDb are a good indicator of which shows the public likes the most!
7 Batwoman
Batwoman is the lowest-rated Arrowverse show. Despite that, it ran successfully for three seasons. What hurt the show was the switch from one titular hero to another. The first season focused on Kate Kane, and the subsequent two seasons saw Ryan Wilder don the mask of Batwoman.
Despite the well-played leading characters, Batwoman never got as much love from the audience as other Arrowverse shows. Another reason might be that it was too dark in comparison to more light-hearted series such as The Flash or Legends of Tomorrow. The series does have its strong moments, though, and introduced compelling supporting characters, such as the villainous Alice or the charismatic Julia Pennyworth.
6 Black Lightning
When people hear the word Arrowverse, they don’t often think about Black Lightning. Even more than other shows, Black Lightning stood on its own, and it became connected to the Arrowverse later on, during the crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths.
But even without its tie to the Arrowverse, Black Lightning is still an enjoyable show that works with sympathetic characters, not just Jefferson Pierce in the leading roles but also his daughters who go on to become just as important. The series has also used the concept of a superhero who has already given up his superhero activity in the past and returns to it again, making it different from the rest of the Arrowverse shows.
5 Supergirl
Supergirl followed in the footsteps of The Flash and was more optimistic than Arrow. That’s despite the fact that Kara Danvers faces many challenges, often because of hostile aliens or other villains. The series had sympathetic characters played by talented actors as well as many great villains.

The downside of it was that it wasn’t as tightly connected to the previous Arrowverse shows so even though Supergirl sometimes met the Flash or Green Arrow, she mostly flew solo, making the show feel more like a stand-alone piece than a part of a larger universe. Some viewers also pointed out that Supergirl took a lot of plot lines and antagonists that primarily were associated with Superman in the comics. Whatever the case, the series provided six seasons of fun, action-filled, and sometimes emotional content. It also saw Kara’s transformation from a hesitant young woman to a confident superhero.
4 Legends Of Tomorrow
It was The Flash that first came up with the concept of a humorous Arrowverse show…but Legends of Tomorrow brought it to a whole new level. During its seven seasons, it was often impossible to predict what would happen next, and what adventure the characters would go on. It helped that they could travel through time and weren’t bound to one city like other heroes.
The series also didn’t have one clear protagonist, instead, it gave space to a full team. The crew changed a lot from the first episode to the last, each of them bringing something new to the table, keeping the show fresh. The only major downside of the show is that it was canceled this year despite the fact that it ended with a cliffhanger.
3 Arrow
Arrow ran for eight seasons, making it one of the longest-lasting Arrowverse shows. Despite his prominence in the comics, Oliver Queen was never as famous as Batman or Superman, until Arrow introduced him to a wider audience. The story is known - Oliver Queen comes back home from five years he spent on an island and starts fighting the criminals in his city in order to save it. Even though the series originally focused primarily on Oliver, it gradually introduced other superheroes who worked with Green Arrow, giving every fan a chance to find their favorite.

It also gave a lot of space to personal issues of the characters, such as Oliver’s complex relationships. Comic book readers might have been surprised at how the show changed Green Arrow’s character and made him much more similar to Batman, but as his character developed, Oliver became more humanized and gentle. That’s why the end in which he sacrificed his life to save everyone was an impressive finale, showing just how much Oliver Queen grew as a hero. Despite the show’s occasional weaker episodes, its importance for the Arrowverse as its setting block is undeniable.
2 The Flash
When The Flash premiered, it presented a direct contrast to Arrow. Where Oliver was dark and serious, Barry was optimistic and hopeful. As the series progressed, though, it put Barry into increasingly difficult and stressful situations, making each light-hearted moment all that more deserved. Thanks to the fact that the Flash has special powers, the series was able to introduce many villains who just wouldn’t work in the more down-to-Earth Arrow: from evil speedsters to talking gorillas.
The Flash managed to balance drama and comedy, sometimes mixing both in the space of a single episode. What didn’t change was the fact that the show also worked with multiple superheroes. That made for an interesting dynamic between the characters. As a result, even though it’s titled The Flash, the show has never been only about Barry Allen - which only increased its appeal thanks to the fleshed-out characters that appear in it, no matter whether they’re heroes or villains. The Flash is still airing so fans can only guess what adventures their favorite scarlet speedster will experience next.
1 Superman & Lois
Except for The Flash the only currently airing show, Superman & Lois gives space to the Man of Steel himself. Instead of focusing only on Superman fighting bad guys, though, the series takes the time to show that being both a parent and a superhero is no easy task. In fact, sometimes parenting is harder than saving the world. Especially if the child has special powers as well.
Superman & Loismanages to create the balance between drama and action, leaving a bit of space for humor as well. The characters are relatable and all the main actors give solid performances. With its second season currently airing, the series has a lot of promise for the future, and so far, the fans like it, considering it currently has the highest IMDb rating of all the Arrowverse shows.
